The OneStopGov project was represented by URI at the “eGovernment and semantic technologies” workshop
The OneStopGov project was represented by URI at the “eGovernment and semantic technologies” workshop organised by the Greek Ministry of Public Administration in Athens, Greece on the 13rh of February. The project was presented in the general context of the workshop. In addition, a demonstration of the platform was given to the audience with a managerial background in a relevant organised session (Public services models), involving a distribution of a questionnaire for evaluation purposes.

The OneStopGov platform will be evaluated by citizens and civil servants in Slovenia, Hungary, Poland and Greece.
The overall evaluation plan covers three main topics:
1. functional and non-functional requirements of the OneStopGov platform
2. the users acceptance of the OneStopGov platform and
3. the OneStopGov framework developed withing the project.

The OneStopGov platform has been deployed to the three trial sites.
The OneStopGov platform apart from URI server has been deployed to MPA (Slovenia), KD (Hungary) and UMC (Poland).
The platform is ready to be evaluated by citizens and civil servants. Each trial site will organize focus groups where an evaluation will follow the presentation of the platform to the stakeholders.

The OneStopGov project organised a customer centric workshop on public service provision within the context of the Eastern European egov days 2008.
The event took place on April 22 in Prague, where other projects were given the opportunity to demonstrate their prototypes.

The OneStopGov project was presented at the eGovernment Conference "Alliance with Users"
On the occasion of the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2008 Slovenian Ministry of Public Administration organised the eGovernment conference entitled "Alliance with Users". The conference took place on 11. February 2008 in Brdo, Slovenia. The purpose of the conference was to present current European activities in eGovernment field, to foster the network of experts from eGovernment and to investigate the way forward in eGovernment.
The conference was intended for policy makers and high-level IT experts from public administration institutions, universities and industry, who are in charge of the eGovernment development.
The OneStopGov project was presented at the eGovernment Conference "Alliance with Users" on 11 February in Brdo, Slovenia. The conference took place by the auspices of the Slovenian EU Presidency within the frame of the "eGovernment days" (11-13 February 2008).

Presentation and Evaluation of the OneStopGov portal in Cyprus
The OneStopGov project was presented and the prototype was evaluated by a group of highly-ranked public servants at national level in Cyprus.
This presentation was arranged in collaboration with the SemanticGov project. The presentation and evaluation took place on Tuesday the 22nd of October 2007 in Cyprus and the Project Coordinator (Dr. Efthimios Tambouris) traveled there for this reason.
In addition, the demonstration of the platform was followed by the distribution of a questionnaire for evaluation purposes.

Our paper presented in "The 2007 International Conference of Information Security and Internet Engineering" in London, has received "The Best Paper Award of The 2007 International Conference of Information Security and Internet Engineering" !

State-of-the-art deliverable submitted and published!
The D11 deliverable "State-of-the-art" has been submitted to the EC and published on the OSG website. This document can be downloaded from the Deliverables Table on the OSG website.

OneStopGov website is up and running!
The project's website is on since end of February. There is a public as well as a private area. The public area is intended for giving information about the project main objectives and results and for disseminating the knowledge gained during the project while the private area is intended for keeping and exchanging documents that are relative to the project.
