Within the Research Institute of the University of Macedonia, the Information Systems Laboratory has significant experience in research projects related to eGovernment, eBusiness and eLearning and it has undertaken a number of eGovernment studies both at the national and European level.

Societate Comerciala Pentru Cercetare, Proiectare, Executie, Montaj, Service Si Consultanta Pentru Echipamente Si Instalatii De Automatizare Si Tehnologia Informatiei (IPA)

IPA SA is the main Romanian Institute of Research and Design in informatics-automation, currently employing about 230 people. IPA SA is a private Research Institute and SME. Based in Bucharest, IPA's team includes software and PC system engineers, technological engineers and PhD Professors from Poly-technical University from Bucharest. IPA specialists are involved in various European RTD projects, emphasized in IPA.
 

  Slovenian Ministry of Public Administration

Our mission is to establish a friendly and an effective public administration, i.e. friendly towards users who are the reason for the existence of the public administration, and towards civil servants who are the nucleus of the public administration. However, in order to establish a friendly public administration, it will be our common task to increase the efficiency of the exploitation of human, financial and material resources and the know-how within the public administration. The Slovenian public administration respects the principles of legality and legal safety, political neutrality and professional independence, openness and user orientation, expertise and quality, compatibility, rationality and efficiency.
Our objective is to secure the satisfaction of users and civil servants and to provide for a public administration, which will not only be comparable with public administrations of other EU Member States but will be, as regards an advanced organisation and the satisfaction of users and public finance effects, among the best in the European Union.

City of Częstochowa (UMC)

Częstochowa is 12th biggest city in Poland, with around 250 ths inhabitants. It is also a pilgrimage centre of Poland hosting 4 milion pilgrims every year. The city is situated on The Cracow-Częstochowa Jurassic Upland.
The City Hall of Częstochowa is a self- governmental unit of public administration, employing 670 people. Project OneStopGov for a self-governmental unit is a way of performing its duties to citizens, simplifying settling their affairs.
 

  Kopint-Datorg Ltd. (KD)

Since 1968, KD (www.kopint-datorg.hu) had been processing foreign trade data for statistical and customs purposes. In the early '90s KD, - as a state-owned company - began providing IT solutions for the Hungarian public administration. In 2001, KD started the operation of the Hungarian Governmental Backbone Network and the operation/development of the Hungarian Governmental Portal (www.magyarorszag.hu), which hosts the national level Citizen's Gateway. Our company is acknowledged in the field of economic research, as well.

Technology Transfer Office - National University of Ireland, Galway

NUI Galway has launched the new Ignite Technology Transfer Office (formerly TTO NUI Galway) to provide expertise and guidance to researchers, businesses and entrepreneurs in the western region. The 15 members of the Ignite TTO team will offer a range of programmes and services to support Intellectual Property Management and new Enterprise Development.
The team will build on existing technology transfer activities at the University, with a focus on the early stage identification and protection of intellectual property (IP), technology marketing, technology valuation and technology commercialisation. The new entrepreneurial forum, enhancing spin-out formation, technology licensing & business mentoring and the expansion of support services, such as the business incubation space, will add to enterprise support that Ignite TTO provides.
NUI Galway has a long standing involvement with the promotion of indigenous enterprise and the direct provision of services to locally based industry. More than 40 collaborative projects with industry were secured in 2007, generating over € 2.3m, as well as the establishment of a new entrepreneurial forum with a view to providing researchers and emerging entrepreneurs the fundamental knowledge and skill set required in the pursuit of enterprise development. Ignite TTO has a strong focus on market assessment and delivery of tailored solutions and technology offerings to market on time.
